FAIRVIEW, Oregon  – Lift-Tek Elecar, founded in 1972 in Italy, celebrates a momentous 50th Anniversary this year. First opened by three technicians from the forklift industry in a small warehouse in Castel San Giovanni, Italy, Lift-Tek Elecar has since grown into a large operation serving the European market, designing and manufacturing a wide variety of forklift masts used on both electric and internal combustion (IC) lift trucks, very narrow aisle lift trucks, Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs), and more.

Currently based in Piacenza, Italy, Lift-Tek Elecar employs 230 people. The company was acquired by Cascade Corporation in October 2021 as a wholly owned subsidiary, along with their North American counterpart, Lift Technologies, Inc., located in Westminster, South Carolina. Lift-Tek’s special engineering capabilities combined with Cascade’s latest attachment technologies—such as mobile weighing and sensing capabilities— provides enhanced options for customers in need of specialized, integrated mast/attachment solutions for the front end of their forklift or AGV.
